Brouwerij Martens, the oldest brewery in the province of Limburg, represents 250 years of tradition and expertise in the Belgian beer market. Nowadays it can be cited among the most dynamic breweries in the country. We have managed to combine past and present in a pleasant and productive way. The brewery is currently heading for an annual production of 3 million hectolitres of beer!

Yes, in off-licences/at beer merchants by means of hostesses, though this is not advisable. When you visit the brewery museum you will be given the opportunity to sample some of our beer.

The tourist office for Bocholt published a cookery book on the occasion of the "Week van de Smaak" (a national taste week) which featured several recipes inspired by the beers produced by Brouwerij Martens. This was done in collaboration with restaurant "Kristoffel" and "De Marmiet".
