Brewery "Girardin" was established in 1845 as part of a nobleman's estate. In 1882 the farm/brewery was acquired by the Girardin family, who has been running the business for over four generations now.The brewery is mainly known for its role as supplier of Lambic beers to Geuze blenders (e.g. "De Cam", "Drie Fonteinen"), local pubs and the general public. Its location is quite unique: the brewery can be seen from afar, located at the crest of the Lindenverg, surrounded by meadows and fields. There is a reason why Armand Debelder refers to this enterprise as the "Château d'Yquem" of Lambic breweries.. Besides Lambic beers Girardin also brews a lager named "Ulricher".
